Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical MTO General Contractor Project Contract Signing &EPC Kick-off Meeting held

The contract signing ceremony for the 1-million-ton/year methanol-to-olefin (MTO) project, awarded to Wison Engineering by Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical, took place on the morning of January 12, 2024. The kick-off meeting began at 9:30 am following the ceremony. The attendees include Mr. Liang Quanyong, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical; Mr. Zhou Yonggang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical; Mr. Zhou Hongliang, CEO of Wison Engineering; Mr. Qi Guosheng, SVP of Wison Engineering and other key personnel from both companies. Mr. Zhou Yonggang and Mr. Qi Guosheng signed the project's general contract as representatives.

Mr. Qi Guosheng highlighted Wison’s commitment to the Huayi MTO project, emphasizing the selection of experienced members, increased resource allocation, stringent project execution, and the shared goal of achieving project success. He expressed hope for efficient collaboration, mutual support, and a mutually beneficial partnership aiming for successful project completion.

 

Mr. Xu Yutao, Project Manager of Wison Engineering, provided a comprehensive report on the project overview, implementation planning, construction preparation, risk assessment, key challenges, mitigation strategies, and upcoming focus areas. The two project teams engaged in detailed group discussions across project management, design, procurement, construction, quality control, safety, cost management, and documentation to ensure thorough implementation of project tasks.
